Slowpo Sound System

Slowpo Sound System is a club night based in Manchester UK showcasing talent from DJs to live acts fusing electronic music with black british music such as grime, hiphop & dancehall. Slowpo Sound System has a strong community focus from highlighting up and coming DJs to the people that attend their parties taking inspiration from Jamaican sound system culture Slowpo wanted to put his own spin on this through the music he has been inspired by growing up in the UK.

I decided to take inspiration from a soundwave for the logo and creating an emblem that can be used across social and video assets by creating a 3d spinning version.

I then went onto create a series of flyers and videos that would be used to advertise the events adapting for social media posts, physical posters & ads. I wanted to capture the community aspect of the event by creating a layerd collage effect of photos from the event with some graphic overlays to showcase the aesthetics of the event.
